Event overview

On the evening of Wednesday, 6th August 2025, aged cares finest will take centre stage at the NSW Parliament House for the return of Aged Care Employee Night – a glittering evening dedicated to celebrating the dedication and compassion of the aged care workforce across NSW and ACT.

Hosted by Ageing Australia NSW/ACT, this prestigious event will bring together aged care employees, executives, policymakers, and Members of Parliament for an evening of recognition, inspiration, and unity – all on the eve of Aged Care Employee Day.

This year’s event will feature the presentation of Aged Care Employee Awards, and a powerful multimedia showcase of member achievements and outstanding frontline staff. With last year’s sold-out cocktail-style event attracting more than 100 guests and strong ministerial presence, 2025 promises to raise the bar even further.

Aged Care Employee Night is more than a celebration, it’s a statement of gratitude to those who support older Australians every day. It also highlights the importance of investing in a trusted, capable, and resilient aged care workforce.

We’re calling for staff recognition videos to help us build a greater showcase on the night. Share the incredible stories and faces behind your services – they deserve the spotlight.
