Community of Practice overview

The Women Leading Innovation in Aged Care Community of Practice is a trusted peer forum for women leaders from across Ageing Australia’s membership to connect, collaborate and share practical lessons across innovation, technology and AI. It supports the development of leadership capability, confidence and influence while contributing practical insights and thought leadership.

The Community of Practice aims to:

  • Share practice‑based innovation, evidence, and lessons learned
  • Support peer learning and collaboration across organisations and roles
  • Elevate women’s leadership and voices in aged care innovation
  • Identify barriers and enablers to innovation in aged care systems and services
  • Provide opportunities for leadership professional development

Who should attend?

  • Ageing Australia members – Please note, this is a members only session
  • Open to women leaders doing Innovation in Aged Care
  • Allies may be invited for specific sessions where appropriate

The outcomes are:

  • Strong engagement and ongoing participation
  • Sharing of innovations adopted or adapted across organisations
  • Increased visibility of women leaders and innovators
  • Contributions to sector dialogue, reform or policy submissions
  • Member‑reported value, confidence, and leadership growth
