The CHSP Advisory Hub: Tailored Support to Navigate Change Together

ACCPA is supporting Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers to implement new aged care reforms and prepare for the transition to the Support at Home Program.
The Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHaC) have announced that the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) has been further extended from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027. This means that CHSP providers will transition to the new Support at Home program no earlier than 2027.

The CHSP Advisory Hub is dedicated to supporting the sector by delivering a range of practical services as we work alongside CHSP providers to help them understand exactly what the new Support at Home program means, and what they will need to do to prepare their business.

Our new online CHSP Advisory Hub aims to equip CHSP providers with the knowledge, tools and strategies necessary to support planning for the changes between now and 2027.

We understand that each CHSP service provider has unique strengths, challenges and operational contexts, so we’ve ensured the CHSP Advisory Hub helps providers create tailored strategies to maximise their ability to work through the changes.

As the aged care landscape undergoes transformative changes, CHSP providers across the nation are seeking support and collaboration where they can access reliable resources that speak to everyday practice and CHSP delivery considerations.

We know that each provider experiences different CHSP related challenges and opportunities. The CHSP Advisory Hub is committed to supporting all providers, regardless of their situation.

A welcoming digital space filled with resources, this platform offers CHSP specific training and guidance offerings via webinars and tailored advice with a CHSP focus.

The CHSP Advisory Hub features:
• Tailored support: connect with dedicated CHSP advisors for personalised guidance navigating any challenge or opportunity.
• Valuable resources: easy access to a library of downloadable guides, templates, and tools to streamline your CHSP operations.
• Open access: the CHSP Advisory Hub welcomes every provider, offering essential resources and support for success.
• Clarity: complex language and terminology are broken down into actionable insights relevant to your daily practice.
