Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme (ARVAS)

ARVAS is the national accreditation scheme for the retirement living sector, developed by Ageing Australia and the Property Council of Australia (PCA), representing the owners and operators of retirement communities.

The Independent Auditor

Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP) will be withdrawing as the auditor of ARVAS as of 30 June 2025.

Ageing Australia and PCA are now determining the future direction and management of ARVAS and will inform the sector as soon as this is determined. For all operators who are currently accredited your accreditation continues until your accreditation expiry date, with business as usual.
