Trusted by the sector
Your voice. Your support. Your peak body.
Ageing Australia is trusted by the sector.
We represent three in four aged care providers across Australia.
Together, Ageing Australia members form a strong, united voice representing the sector across all levels of government, the media and the broader community.
A message from our Chief Executive Officer
“Thank you for your continued support as a valued member of Ageing Australia.
As we enter the 2026–27 membership renewal period, I want to acknowledge your leadership during what has been a significant period of reform. You and your teams continue to deliver high-quality care and support for older Australians, despite the very significant pressure associated with doing so. That commitment does not go unnoticed.
The decisions being made now will shape the next era of care, services and housing for ageing Australians.
Your membership ensures those decisions are informed by your experience and insights, giving you a direct voice with governments on the issues that matter most – from funding shortfalls to workforce pressures, hospital discharge delays to growing waiting lists, as well the future of services to older people in Australia.
This is where a strong peak body matters. As Ageing Australia enters its fifth year as a single national peak for services to older people, we have come a long way. But we more to do to build a sustainable sector and ensure ageing in Australia is the best it can be.
Alongside advocacy, we are focused on supporting you with expert advice, practical guidance and the tools you need to navigate a complex and changing environment.
Thank you for being part of a strong, united voice for the sector. Together, we are building a sector we can all be proud of.”
