Pathway to Transition Member support and advice

Groups and forums

Ageing Australia offers national member forums for each service type, including topics on the new Aged Care Act and Support at Home implications. Forums include:

  • national forum
  • residential care forum
  • home and community care forum
  • retirement living and seniors housing forum
  • member engagement and advocacy forum.

Please contact your relevant state or territory manager, or member relations officer, if you wish to register for an upcoming forum.

Policy feedback groups

Our policy feedback groups is a mechanism for members to discuss and collaborate on specific topics that help shape our advocacy and strengthen our collective voice across the sector, including new Aged Care Act and Support at Home program.

Chat & Connect: Let's discuss Support at Home

‘Chat & Connect’ are our free, informal discussion sessions held fortnightly to support the transition to the new Support at Home Program.

Each session focuses on key topics like care management, CHSP transitions and the new regulatory model, with guidance from Ageing Australia’s HCP and CHSP advisors.

These interactive sessions offer updates, advice and a space for members to ask questions and share insights. Topics may change based on participant interest, ensuring relevant, practical support throughout the transition.
